Basket capacity, time in the air and the whole morning programme should be compared separately. Confirm what actually distinguishes the selected flight and read the preparation guide before deciding. Flying remains subject to conditions and official clearance.
Make the choice with a clearer picture.
Plan the complete morning
A balloon enquiry involves more than the flight itself. Compare hotel pickup, preparation, expected time in the air and the return arrangement separately. Tell the team about any tour or transfer you hope to take later the same morning. Keep the connection realistic rather than treating the catalogue flight duration as the time you will be away from the hotel.
Check the differences that matter
Ask what actually changes between standard, comfort, deluxe and private options in the quote you receive. Basket capacity, exclusivity, duration and extras should be specified by the confirmed operator. A category name or photograph does not establish a fixed passenger number, route or package of extras. Compare equivalent arrangements and clarify the price unit before deciding.
Prepare with the operator
Confirm traveller eligibility and the pickup instructions directly with the selected provider. Ask how weather cancellation, refunds and rebooking are handled, and remember that a later flight is subject to availability. Keep the operator’s contact details available, read the actual morning message and follow the crew’s instructions instead of relying on a general website departure time.
GOOD QUESTIONS, CLEAR ANSWERS
A few things worth knowing.
Are balloon flights guaranteed to operate?
No. Every departure depends on weather and official flying clearance. Request a morning early in your stay and ask for the operator’s cancellation and rebooking terms before paying.
Does sending an enquiry confirm a booking?
No. An enquiry starts a conversation. Your service is confirmed only after the team has agreed availability, the final price, inclusions and booking terms with you.
