How early do I need to wake up for a balloon flight?
Balloon flights take off at sunrise, so you will be picked up from your hotel between 04:30 and 05:30 depending on the season. The early wake-up is well worth it โ watching the sun rise over the fairy chimneys from above is an unforgettable experience.
What happens if my balloon flight is cancelled due to weather?
The Civil Aviation Authority monitors weather conditions and decides whether flights can operate each morning. If your flight is cancelled, we will first try to reschedule it to another day during your stay. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund. Safety always comes first.
Is there an age or weight limit for balloon flights?
Children under 6 years old are not permitted on balloon flights. There is generally no upper age limit as long as passengers can stand for approximately one hour. Weight limits vary by operator, but most baskets accommodate passengers comfortably. Please let us know your requirements when booking and we will arrange the best option.
How long does the balloon flight last?
Standard flights last approximately 60 minutes in the air. Deluxe and comfort flights can be up to 90 minutes. The entire experience, including pickup, preparation, flight, and return to your hotel, takes about 3 to 4 hours.
Tours & Activities
What is included in the Red, Green, and Blue tours?
All daily tours include hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking guide, entrance fees to all sites on the itinerary, and lunch at a local restaurant. The Red Tour covers north Cappadocia highlights, the Green Tour explores the south including underground cities, and the Blue Tour visits lesser-known hidden gems off the beaten path.
Can I customize a private tour?
Absolutely. Our private tours are fully customizable. You can choose which sites to visit, how long to spend at each location, and set your own pace. Contact us with your interests and we will create a personalized itinerary just for you.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Yes, most tours are family-friendly. The Red Tour and Green Tour are great for families. Some activities like ATV safaris have minimum age requirements (usually 16 for drivers, younger children can ride as passengers). Let us know the ages of your children and we will recommend the best activities.
Booking & Payment
How do I book a tour or experience?
You can book through our website using the booking form on any tour page, send us a message on WhatsApp, or email us at info@travelagencycappadocia.com. We respond to all inquiries within a few hours. A deposit or full payment secures your reservation.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the activity start time. Cancellations within 24 to 48 hours may be subject to a 50% fee. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Balloon flights cancelled due to weather are always fully refundable.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank transfers, and cash payments in euros, US dollars, or Turkish lira. Online payments are processed securely. You can also pay on arrival for most services.
Getting to Cappadocia
Which airport should I fly into?
There are two airports serving Cappadocia: Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR) and Nevลehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV). Kayseri is about 80 km (1 hour) from Gรถreme and has more flight options. Nevลehir is about 40 km (30 minutes) from Gรถreme. We provide airport transfer services from both airports.
Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes, we offer private airport transfers from both Kayseri and Nevลehir airports. Our driver will be waiting with a name sign when you arrive. Transfers can be booked along with your tour package or separately.

What is the best time to visit Cappadocia?
Cappadocia is beautiful year-round. April to June and September to November offer the best weather with mild temperatures and clear skies, ideal for balloon flights. Summer (July-August) is warm and busy. Winter brings a magical snowy landscape, though balloon flights may be cancelled more frequently due to weather.
How many days should I spend in Cappadocia?
We recommend a minimum of 2 nights and 3 days to see the major highlights and take a balloon flight. For a more relaxed visit that includes multiple tours, a balloon ride, and unique experiences, 3 to 4 nights is ideal. Five days allows you to explore everything at a comfortable pace.
Can you help arrange hotel accommodation?
While we do not book hotels directly, we work closely with many of Cappadocia’s finest cave hotels and boutique properties. We can recommend the best options based on your budget and preferences. Our tour packages include accommodation recommendations and we are happy to coordinate with your hotel for all pickup and drop-off logistics.

Are your tours safe?
Your safety is our top priority. We are a TรRSAB licensed agency (License #14817) and only work with certified, insured operators. Our balloon flight partners hold all required aviation licenses. All vehicles are regularly inspected and our guides are trained in first aid.
Are tours accessible for people with mobility issues?
Some sites in Cappadocia involve uneven terrain and stairs, particularly the underground cities and certain valleys. However, we can arrange modified itineraries for guests with mobility concerns. Please inform us of any accessibility needs when booking, and we will customize your experience to ensure comfort and enjoyment.
