Start with the villages
Consider Avanos for pottery traditions, Mustafapaşa for another village setting, Ortahisar for its castle rock and Ürgüp for a different base in the region. These are starting points for a route, not a claim that every stop is quiet or undiscovered.
Make room for the landscape
Rose Valley, Red Valley and Pigeon Valley offer three more possibilities to discuss with your guide. Confirm the actual route, terrain and walking time. A viewpoint stop and a valley walk are different experiences, even when the place name is the same.
Add a historical perspective
Zelve, Kaymaklı Underground City and Selime Monastery complete this shortlist. Ask which sites can reasonably be combined on your dates, what access involves and which fees or guiding arrangements are included.
Choose fewer places, enjoy them more
You do not need to visit all ten. Pick the places that fit your interests and connect them around your hotel, transport and preferred pace. A thoughtful private route can be more useful than treating a list as a checklist.
Put the ideas into a plan.
Explore balloon flights, compare Cappadocia tours and connect your airport transfers.
